Back ground of UNIHOT-UGANDA

United Hands of Transformation Uganda (UNIHOT–UGANDA) is a non government, nonprofit making and non partisan organization. It was formed in early 2013 by a group of social workers with a major purpose of advocating for the promotion of women and children’s rights. After being convinced that through human rights advocacy, environmental protection, HIV/AIDS sensitization and prevention, improved water and sanitation, education innovation, agriculture value chain and food security we shall contribute fully to the benefit of our communities.
 It’s registered under Reg No. CD/NGO/159, with the head office located in Kabarole District the initial operation area in western Uganda. The organization is constituted to operate in Uganda and has a plan in place to establish offices in  Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern regions of Uganda.
Over half year, UNIHOT-UGANDA has grown to expand with other programs coming up with support of the community development grant under Fort portal Municipal Council.

Our Strategic direction

  • To promote social-economic empowerment for the youth and women through creating  income generating opportunities
  • To enhance sustainable agricultural production, value addition and marketing for small scale farmers
  • Undertake action research and pilot projects to develop methodologies for improving processes of innovation, learning, capacity development and institutional change.
  • To strengthen disaster response and refugee resettlement in situations of need.
